Identify 10 things that you aim to achieve during level 6, explain why you want to achieve them and how you intend to go about achieving them. Grade them in terms of level of priority.

1. I aim to be creating resolutions that focus on all aspects of design with equal importance. This last year I feel I have had strong ideas but not always strong final resolutions, because I left choices of finish and stock until the last minute. When thinking of an idea I will make the finish of the product my priority by completing more research into the finish of a product.
Importance - 5

2. I aim to be confident in web design, as this is an area I find challenging and would like to improve on, especially because website design is now a major concern for clients and graphic design. I will improve my knowledge by researching html and css design, and by using the facilities in college to further my experience of it.
Importance - 4

3. I would like to have successfully collaborated with people not only on the course, but throughout the college, as I think it's important for me to improve my work in teams and to have the experience so that I can continue to collaborate confidently after graduating. I will do this by putting myself forward for collaboration opportunities within the college.
Importance - 3

4. I would like to have gained professional work experience within a small studio environment. I aim to do this by using my second and third years to network and make studio visits.
Importance - 4

5. I would like to have increased my knowledge and experience of analogue print processes, such as screen print and letterpress, because I enjoy them and would like to establish a printing studio at some point in the future after graduation. I will do this by taking advantage of the facilities and printing when I can.
Importance - 4

6. I hope to have a working knowledge of the professional design process, and the ins and outs of the business side of graphic design, as it will be necessary for me to understand after I graduate. I hope to do this by researching into it more, and taking any opportunities we have through PPP to explore this side of the practice.
Importance - 4

7. I hope to have gained presentation skills by the time I leave, as I lack confidence in this area and am aware that in a professional environment they are an important part of communication with clients. I hope to do this by building my confidence over the next 2 years, by participating more in group work and by practicing presentations more thoroughly.
Importance - 4

8. I hope by the time I leave to have extensive experience and knowledge of editorial design and layouts/grids. I enjoy editorial design and hope to develop this part of my practice. I will do this by exploring and experimenting with layouts, and researching editorial design through the libraries resources.
Importance - 4

9. I hope to be able to produce strong ideas quickly and efficiently, without procrastinating. I feel like I can produce good ideas, but I don't produce enough and in the allotted time. I will improve on this in the next 2 years by making myself use design sheets more often and researching and improving my design skills early in the process.
Importance - 4

10. I hope to be able to manage my time effectively and design efficiently so that I can be seen as an asset to future clients. I will do this by keeping on top of my work, keeping to do lists and learning more about time management.
Importance - 5
